November Newsletter from Big Horn Quilts
Hi, quilters, from Big Horn Quilts
We are finally back in the fabric business. The first bunch of stuff to come in was a lot of Westminster - Free Spirit fabric. It is really a challenge to picture it in quilts. It is kind of a Kaffe Fassett - Amy Butler hybrid. Some of it is butt ugly, but then you always need some ugly fabric in a quilt, right?
We've been getting in lots of new books and patterns. Especially mystery novels featuring quilters solve murder mysteries.
I want to thank all of you for your condolences about Walter and Maggie. Dave cruised the internet for weeks looking for a rescue dog, and found Andy. He's half lab and half border collie, and has one ear representing each breed. He's insecure cause he's been bounced around a lot, but he tries so hard to please - he's definitely not bouncing around any more. He's 18 months old, and still pretty much a puppy.
Our newest stuff
We got in some Laurel Burch flannel, from the Jungle Song collection.
Sherry's been sewing up a storm with the cat vegetable collection, and the Nancy Halvorsen Christmas books, and is starting to pretty up the shop for Christmas.
This is Marquerite's McDuff in his Halloween hoodie. He's such a darling!
The new 50 dollar gift certificates winners are Flora Myring and Karen Nolan - Congratulations! Contact us for instructions on claiming your prize, and everyone sign up again for the next drawing at the sign-up page. You can also change your email address or unsubscribe there.
Only 38 more days til Christmas!
